Oslo Housing Complex

Located in the neighborhood of Grünerløkka in Oslo, Norway; the northeast corner of the site inhabits a busy street corner that attracts many street walkers. The street facade is made up of different markets and restaurants that blanket the rest of the site. The design of this site integrates a density gradient from the busy northeast corner to the calming southwest corner where the nearby river can be seen. The site includes six different units that can suit any type of lifestyle. Each of the “clusters” in this complex are made up of the six different units which provides flexability to the inhabitants. Inhabitants have the choice of which type of unit they would like as well as the location of the unit within the site.
